They look really nice and are very comfortable to wear but it is a battle to get them on and off because the elastic is so tight. I don’t think I’d buy these kind of boots without zips again.
I absolutely adore these shoes. I wore them nearly daily for 3.5 autumns/winters. They look great with everything and I always get lots of compliments. The only reason I'm giving them 4 stars is because I've had some trouble with the soles this year (thus why I said 3.5 autumns/winters). The sole doesn't have any tread on it, which I didn't realize when buying. Initially that was fine, but over the years the heels eventually wore down to a slant. I think I lean more on one leg than the other when I walk, because one of the heels wore down substantially more and became slanted more steeply than the other. So unfortunately they are no longer safe to wear. My advice would be, if you live in a climate with icy/snowy winters, get a different pair of Will's Chelsea boots that have tread. But the "leather" part of the boots has held up really nicely and still looks beautiful, so I will probably take them to a shoe repair shop to have them resoled. I love the shape of these boots so much. Very feminine while also looking sharp. Will's is my go-to supplier of vegan shoes, and I will be buying more very soon!
Boots themselves are alright in terms of quality and style, but even for my very slim foot it is almost impossible to get my foot in and out of the very narrow top. It makes it difficult to wear them in circumstances that I may have to remove shoes when going into premises and I an sure that at some point the tab on the back will rip off frok the force I have to place on it to get them on and off.
