This product is certified carbon-neutral and ethically made in Portugal under EU employment, discrimination and health & safety law. It's vegan from the uppers and linings to the glue. It's delivered to you through our carbon-neutral supply chain in plastic-free paper and cardboard packaging.

- Strobel construction – the upper is stitched directly to a soft textile base, with the sole bonded underneath. With no rigid board or stiffeners inside, it flexes naturally with your foot and stays light underfoot

- Highly water-resistant and PFC/PFA free – lab-tested water-resistant construction keeps your feet dry through rain, slush and snow in most fall and winter conditions. Not waterproof, so not suitable for full submersion, prolonged periods in deep snow, or extended walking through long wet grass.

Clean: Brush off dry dirt with a soft brush, then wipe the quilted ripstop uppers with warm soapy water and a cloth — the fine weave cleans easily and dries fast. Wipe the rubberised mudguard and outsoles the same way, then towel dry. Never put your boots in the washing machine. Salt & grit: Road salt can leave white tide marks on the fabric and mudguard, so wipe it off when you can with warm soapy water and a cloth, then towel dry — no special treatment needed. Drying: If they get wet through, remove the insoles and let both dry naturally at room temperature, away from radiators and direct heat — high heat can damage the quilting and the sole bond. Loosening the laces and toggles and opening the cuff wide helps air get down inside. Stuffing with paper speeds it along, and the fur lining will need a day or more to dry fully through — don't wear them again until it has. Deodorizing: Don't let the fur lining stay damp between wears, as this can let microbes develop and cause smells. If a smell develops, dry the boots fully and use a footwear deodorizer until it clears. Airing them cuff-open between wears goes a long way in itself. Storage: At the end of winter, clean and dry them fully, then store somewhere dry with airflow — not a sealed bag or damp garage — so the fur and quilting stay fresh for next season.

Fit and comfort notes:
- Width and volume: our footwear is designed with a slightly wider D width fitting, offering more width and volume than most brands.
- Materials: we use high quality vegan leather and suede. These materials are stable and won't stretch out significantly over time, so we recommend sizing up for comfort.
- The perfect fit: you don't want the shoes to pinch your feet. You should have wiggle room for your toes and no rub points.
- Feel: in most cases you'll find our footwear is comfy straight out of the box. Depending on the style or your foot shape, it can sometimes take a few wears for the uppers to soften and mold to your feet.

How to take your foot length measurement
- Stand on a hard surface with your heel against a wall.
- Measure your foot from the heel (the wall) to the longest point of your toes.
- Use this number to find your size in the chart above.
It is helpful to measure both feet, as one foot is often slightly larger than the other. Always choose the size that accommodates your longest foot.
